CPC Plate Carrier with ROC Attachment Gen. 4.1

Templar's Gear CPC Gen. 4.1 is a postmodern, intelligent and modular protective vest for the needs of a soldier of the 2020s. The basis of the plate carrier is plate bags, which instead of traditional velcro attach to each other with ROC buckles (Rapid Open Connector). Other features of the vest include places for exchangeable front and back panels, zippered integrated admin-pouch, velcro-operated loops for cable management and the clever plate bags.

Updates From Previous Generations:

  • Zippered admin pouch at the top in front
  • Better compatibility with Vest Pack backpack panels, i.e. ready-made loops in the cummerbund, so attaching the side straps of the Vest Pack adapter doesn't eat up PALS space.
  • Thicker and more comfortable shoulder pads with access to the "engine room" - you can replace the stuffings with new or even ballistic protection
  • More attachment points and loops for organizing cables, tubes, antennas, and other knick knacks

Featurs In A Compact Form:

  • Unbelievably light: the weight of the plate bags is only 700 g, cummerbund depending on size, 240 / 260 / 280 / 300 g. In total always at max a kilo!
  • Made from Templar's own Baucent laminate, i.e. two 500D Cordura fabrics mated together.
  • ROC system opening. Two loops are included, with which the ROC buckles on shoulder straps can be replaced, if you want to have quick release just on the waist area. This way especially a smaller user has more space for gun stock!
  • Ability to use front and back panels. The front panel attachment is compatible with practically all SwiftClip attaching chestrigs and panels! The buckles are Woojin's quality products.
  • Compatible with different danglers, i.e. belt bag / fanny pack style pouches, that hang below the front plate bag.
  • Velcro matrices under ROC buckles to which various side wings can be attached.
  • A stiffened cummerbund with elastic sections on the back. Pouches can be attached on both sides. Next to the ROC buckles, there are small webbing loops to which the ends of the side straps of the Vest Pack adapter can be attached. This way the attachment is sturdy and doesn't take up PALS real estate!
  • Cummerbund has a double-sided three-row high PALS matrix. Middle rows can be used too! In size S, the width of the matrix is 4 columns, in size M 5, in size L 6 and in size XL 7. The length of the cummerbund also decides the size of the vest, see the size chart in its own section.
  • Abundance of openable loops for routing cables and hydration carrier tubes. The back side also has an evacuation handle. Also regular loops on both front and back plate bags.
  • Admin pocket with zipper closure in the front plate back. Pouch width 15 cm, depth 9.5 cm. Mouth width 12 cm. If wish to have space for a modern smart brick, have a look at the Astrolabe! Available in the following fashionable colours: Ranger Green, Multicam, black and the Finnish M05 camo!
  • 6 × 3.5 PALS matrix in the front plate bag for mag pouches and a 4 × 3 matrix for other pouches above the previous one. The "middle rows" are also in use, which means that the height of the pouches can be adjusted in 25 mm increments
  • A 23.5 x 14.5 cm loop velcro matrix for fastening the panels in the lower front plate bag. The center of this matrix is free of velcro to save weight, but the sides and top are continuous, so the panels fit tightly and without slouching. Above, a 16 x 5.5 cm fluffy velcro matrix for patches and other IFF systems. On both sides of this there are two spots for, for example, radio PTTs or wires.
  • A 6 x 6 PALS matrix in the back plate bag for panels and pouches. Middle rows are also available. Protected zippers protected on both sides of the matrix for attaching Templar's Gear back panels and Flat Packs. Panels by other manufacturers might also fit, but we haven't tested.
  • The back plate bag also has an evacuation handle at the top and a 23 x 14 cm fluffy velcro matrix for patches and IFF systems.
  • Sturdy and comfortable shoulder pads. Stuffings inside can be changed, and even replaced with ballistic materials. Pads also have two openable loops for cable management each.
  • The body facing side is made of Templar's own Gambeson laminate, i.e. Coolmax and 3D contoured material. Together, these lighten the heat load and provide a perfect amount of friction so that the vest doesn't wabder around the wearer.
  • The fitting ballistic plate size is 25 x 30 cm. From SAPI and ESAPI series M-sized and smaller plates fit perfectly too. You can find ballistic protection from our excellent Protection Group Danmark selection. Templar's Gear's 2.5 kg training plate has dimensions of 25 x 30 x 2.5 cm and this still goes in quite easily. Plates that are wider and/or thicker than that will certainly make the installer sweat. Plates longer than 30 cm have more leeway because there is plenty of velcro in the plate bag closing system.

Rapid Open Connectors – Divide And Conquer


The indisputable advantage of the ROC system is a certain kind of positive continuity: size adjustments do not change on their own, as ROC buckles always close the same regardles of hurry or magazines attached to front panel. The traditional velcro closure has a slightly different angle and circumference each time and when opening the front flap, pouches and magazines are often in the way. However, if necessary, adjustments can be made quickly using the opening on the back of the vest - even with the back panel in place! Removing the velcro also makes the vest thinner in the front, so even with the ballistic plates, the vest is not as thick as a more traditional plate carrier and the profile of a soldier in a laid up position is smaller.

Other advantage of the ROC system is also its speed, especially when removing the vest. If necessary, for example when falling into water or patching up a wounded fighter, the vest comes off the user in seconds. By opening all the buckles, the front plate bag completely detaches from the back plate bag, so the vests do not accidentally become a vague spaghetti around the wearer, but the thing breaks down into easily manageable small units. Also, putting the plate carrier back on is quicker than on traditional quick release systems, as there is no need to thread the wire.

Panel On – Panel Off

With front and back panels it is easy to change the nature of the vest on the fly. The back panel can hold different "assault panel" configurations and the front panels can have different pouches for different magazines. The smartest way to attach the pouches on the back is to attach them to the panel, because then the the back can be emptied quickly, for example for a backpack.

The front panels are attached to the CPC with velcro and Fastex buckles. The back panel is attached with appropriately protected zippers and attachment hooks that are threaded into the PALS loops. According to our user experience, the back panel can be attached and detached from the carrier in less than a minute after a short break-in phase. The front panel slot is compatible with practically all SwiftClip attaching chest rigs and front panels!

Plate Bags – The Bearable Lightness of Being

The plate bags are designed to last: the laser cut edges are rounded so that the stress doesn't concentrate in one point. In addition, the actual plate bags have 3D pattern Gambeson laminate on the body side so that air can circulate. The fastening flaps of the plate bags are particularly long, so the use of slightly oversized plates is comfortable. Different "danglers" can also be hung from the plate bag closure velcro. On the upper part of the front plate bag there is a velcro matrix and loops for patches, IFF systems and radio PTTs.

Cummerbund has elastic sections, so it adjusts to movement comfortably and does not squeeze too much. In addition it has stiffeners inside to distributes the weight better. However, the best feature might be the "double" structure: pouches can be attached inside and outside. You can put, for example, a side plate or radio pouch on the inside, or any pouch/item you don't remove too often so the carrier stays rigid all the time.

Extended three-year warranty

Templar’s Gear products are granted a three-year warranty. In more concrete manner this means that for example products sold this spring will have warranty for three action packed seasons of airsoft, shooting or whatever you decide to do with them.

The warranty covers all problems that might arise from defective materials or poor craftsmanship. Carelessness or misuse voids the warranty.

Sizing:

There is only one size of plate bags, so the variation is mainly taken care of by the cummerbund. In terms of length, the vest can be adjusted to practically any size user, as long as the length of the plate bags (32 cm) is not too much. The width of the plate bags is 26 cm, here are the distances of the attachment points of the cummerbunds (ie, in practice, the minimum-maximum length of one side of the cummerbund between the plate bags, ignoring the elasticity and attaching the velcro all the way) and the estimated suitable chest circumference:

    Note! Please do mind that the thickness of the plates (or even leaving them out) greatly affects the appropriate chest circumference! In addition, if the circumference of your belly region is larger than your chest, you should measure the circumference a little above the navel. For you all between the sizes, take a larger size if you plan to use plates. The table has been prepared with the idea that ballistic plates are carried in the plate carrier.

1 Prices

Tradesoft Oy (Business ID 2560587-4) sells products within Finland and the EU, as well as to many non-EU countries. All of the prices in our web shop include Finnish VAT (24 %). The currency is euro (€). We reserve the right to price changes.

Finland and other EU countries
The total of the order can be seen in the shopping cart after the correct shipping and payment method have been chosen. No further costs will be charged by Tradesoft.

Non-EU Countries
Some areas that belong to EU countries (see list) are excluded from EU VAT policy, and will be treated as countries outside the European Union. Orders shipped to non-EU countries will be sent out VAT free. However, you are still responsible for paying the customs duty and VAT in your own country before receiving the order.

2 Shipping and delivery

We use Matkahuolto and Posti, the Finnish postal service, for shipping domestic orders. International orders are shipped with GLS, Posti, Postnord and UPS. The available shipping methods will automatically be listed in your shopping cart depending on the products and the shipping country.

Customer is responsible for customs clearance in country of delivery. In addition, customer must ensure that none of the goods are prohibited or require special handling in country of delivery. 

2.1 Delivery time and tracking

All orders placed before 1 pm (Eastern European Time) will be shipped on the same or following business day. The estimated delivery time can be seen on the product page and in your shopping cart after choosing the correct shipping country. If the order contains for example installation services the delivery time may be postponed. If a product is out of stock, we will contact the customer with an updated estimation of the delivery time.

You can track your order by logging in to your account, or by going to the following tracking site. You need your order number and the email address that was given when placing the order to track your order.

2.2 Shipping methods and costs

The available shipping methods are updated automatically when you choose your shipping country. The total shipping costs depend on the products and the total value of your shopping cart. Some shipping methods also qualify for free shipping after a certain total cart value has been reached.

2.3 Missing products or damaged package

Always check the contents of the package immediately upon delivery. If there are products missing or the package has been damaged, contact the shipping company and our customer service. If you do not inform us in time, you may lose your right to a refund or return the product.

Some shipping companies have restrictions for products, such as airsoft guns and gas. Therefore these products cannot be shipped with for example Posti (the Finnish postal service). Because of this we may not be able to ship all products to your country. You can check the available products by choosing your shipping country in the shopping cart – all available shipping methods will then be listed automatically.

3 Paying for your order

We offer various payment methods through our partners like the Finnish Paytrail, as well as Matkahuolto and Posti in the form of Cash On Delivery. In addition to these web shop payment methods, you can pay in cash or with your credit/debit card in our walk-in store in Turku, Finland. The available payment methods will automatically be listed in your shopping cart depending on the chosen shipping method and the shipping country.

Pay for the order when you collect it at the pickup point of your choice (SmartPost) or at your nearest post office.

4 Warranty

All of our products are covered with a warranty of at least one month. The warranty period of each product is stated on the order receipt. The warranty covers normal use of the product and is void if the product is modified or disassembled. In addition, using an unmodified stock gun with a battery exceeding the nominal voltage or nominal capacity stated in the product description, also voids the warranty.

The warranty does not cover products like airsoft guns that have broken after being used in cold or damp climate. The products have originally been designed for warm climates and we cannot therefore guarantee that they function normally in sub-zero temperatures or in otherwise exceptional surroundings.

Remember that the product packaging and all contents including the order receipt are part of the product and needed for warranty processing. If you have lost your order receipt, you can easily print a new one in your account order history, or contact us with your customer details. If something is missing from the product or the product is not in good condition, we may have to compensate for the defect by lowering the total refund value.

If you think your product is broken always contact us before returning the product. Do not disassemble or try to repair the product yourself, as this may void the warranty. If there is not any defect in a product that has been returned to us for warranty processing, we may have to charge a warranty inspection fee and shipping costs.

New products are also covered by the six-month defect liability if the product lacks conformity. This means that if the product was defective at the time of the purchase we will repair or exchange the product within six months. This does not apply to products that have been disassembled, tuned or otherwise modified. In addition, products that have been misused or physically damaged are not covered by this guarantee.

5 Returning a product

All products must be returned in original condition, including product packaging and other accessories provided with the package. Pack the products carefully in the return parcel, so that they arrive in good condition. Only products that have not been used can be returned. However, you may try on for example clothes to make sure they fit.

NB! Products or services made to order to customers needs, like wires sold by the meter or Deans connector installation to battery, cannot be returned.

Remember to include the order receipt or order return form in the parcel. Mark the products you want to return and a short description of what you would like in exchange (different size, other product, refund). If you have lost the order receipt you can print a new one by logging in to your account on our website, or by printing out the order return form from the email you received with the title “Your order has been shipped”.

If you forget to include your contact information in the return package, contact us by email at info@tradesoft.fi. This helps us to identify your package and process the return as quickly as possible.

FINLAND

All domestic orders can be returned for free within a month from receiving the package. Note that products must be returned with the same shipping company that you have chosen when placing your order. Matkahuolto Near parcels must also be returned from the same pickup point where you originally collected the order. Remember to always use our customer return number when sending the package – this way we will cover the shipping costs.

The delivery time for Posti parcels is 1-7 business days. Matkahuolto is a bit quicker. The customer is responsible for paying the shipping costs for packages that have been returned without using our customer return number.

OTHER COUNTRIES

All orders outside of Finland can be returned within a month from receiving the package. The customer is responsible for all transportation fees and charges on any packages returned to Tradesoft. Eventual fees and charges to Tradesoft will be reduced from the value of the returned product before the refund is processed. Do not add Cash On Delivery (COD) or other extra services to the parcel, as these packages will be refused.

Make sure to use a postal service that insures you for the value of the products you are returning. Keep the receipt as proof of returning the products and send the tracking code to us by email at info@tradesoft.fi

5.1 Undeliverable package

FINLAND

If an order returns to us as undeliverable package, we will first contact the customer to arrange re-shipping. If the package returns to us a second time as undeliverable, we may charge the shipping costs for undelivered order. Customers that have chosen Cash On Delivery (COD) may lose their right to this payment method.

OTHER COUNTRIES

If an order returns to us as undeliverable package, we will charge the shipping costs by reducing the total shipping costs from the refund value of the order.

6 How to make changes to your order?

You may make changes to your order before it has been processed for shipping. Contact us immediately at info@tradesoft.fi and let us know how you would like to change the order. We will confirm the changes and then send you an updated order confirmation to your email. The order will be processed immediately when the outstanding balance has been paid.

7 Privacy policy

Every time a person creates an account or places an order in Tradesoft’s web shop, all information is saved in our customer database. This register’s main purpose is to ensure the smooth and efficient processing of orders and customer inquiries. This information is located on password protected and encrypted servers that are not accessible by outside parties. Upon a person’s request, the information may be used for marketing purposes, like newsletters, flyers or other forms of direct marketing.

If you wish to correct, update or remove any information about you that may be in our records, please send us e-mail at info@tradesoft.fi with the details of your request.

Our website also uses cookies to enhance the customer experience. Cookies are used on most websites today, as they are able to collect information from your internet browsing, like which internet browser you are using or the IP address of your computer.
